PSEC was founded in 1984 by Mr. Lian-Yi Chen and his wife Cheng-Si Chen. Before that, they had been working hard in a self-own farm for more than 10 years. They realized that RIGHT nutrition is very essential to the growth and the health of animals. Therefore, they initiated the idea to produce animal food by themselves. The manufacturing facility was established in 1984, and a promising business was seen in the 1st year. With the strong support from their family and friends, POMP SHINE ENTERPRISE CORP. was formally registered in 1986. With the growth sales of OEM services and aquatic feeds, PSEC acquired the turn-key facility (Single Screw Extruder) and the cutting edge of technology from Wenger USA in 1996, and therefore stepped into a new era for pet food manufacturing.
With more than 45 years experience in animal feed, Chairman Mr. Lian-Yi Chen led PSEC to be granted the Enterprise Model Award from Taiwan Government in 2001. To proceed with best quality assurance and customer satisfaction, PSEC has been certified the ISO9001 Quality Management System in 2004, and ISO22000 (Food Safety Management System) and HACCP in 2007. PSCE became the 1st pet food company in Taiwan, honored the 3 certificates. For more production development and nutritional improvement, PSEC signed the technology collaboration agreement with BENEFIT BIOTECH UK LTD in 2010 and started its new plant project. The new plant was set to mass production in 2012. With such effort, we are foreseeing that PSEC can offer a professional service and more valuable pet food for all clients in the future.
